Important Information Needed to File Your 2017 Federal Taxes

For Active Employees and Non-Medicare Eligible Retirees Enrolled in the Retired Employees Health Program (REHP) or Retired Pennsylvania State Police Health Program (RPSPP) Members

Watch your mail for important tax information. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires that the PEBTF provides you with an annual notice summarizing your and your dependents' enrollment in the PEBTF health coverage. 

Active Employee Members:  You will receive a Form 1095-B from the PEBTF after February 5, 2018 and a Form 1095-C from the commonwealth after February 23, 2018.  Retiree Members:  You will receive the Form 1095-B only from the PEBTF after February 5, 2018.   If you qualified for benefits through another employer in 2017, you can expect to receive the applicable forms from that employer.

Your tax preparer should be familiar with these forms.  Please refer to your IRS Form 1040 (2017).  For more information, visit www.irs.gov.
